Pay Check To Paycheck (Extra Credit)

I finally had the chance to watch "Paycheck to Paycheck" , based on a women Katrina Gilbert. She is a mother of three. She lives in Chattanooga ,Tenn. She makes her living by working as a Certified Nursing Assistant . She does that by only making 9.49 per hour.  She mainly works as a care taker for the elderly . And she cant make any time for her three kids.She didn't make enough money to give them any birthday present or anything.All those bills pile up, and the only thing that is helping her is that she believes going to school and after this storm this all will get better. .Its sad to say but, Last week Bill Moyers and his band of merry truth sayers issued a staggering report: Bonuses allotted by firms on Wall Street in 2013 could “cover the cost of more than doubling the paychecks for all of the 1,085,000 Americans who work full-time at the current federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour.” And yet there is no change in pay raise. Maybe its not much for some family but its really awful for families that have to live off one parent . I had the privilege of living that life when my mother lost her job. It was really awful , and i would never want to live a life like that .

Response to Abortion should be LEGAL

On Friday, April 25, 2014 on my fellow blogger wrote a superb article on the legalization of abortion. My fellow blogger, ZHIMIAO went in to full discussion on why we should make it legal. First of all, every life is worth cherishing. It matters the same if the unborn child comes into this world planned, or by a mistake. 

Just to summarize what my fellow blogger; we should make abortion legal. There are many reasons for not making it legal, but here are some important points that u should see. It should be legalize if the mother's health is in Jeopardy. It’s not risking letting one person die to save another. Even though the unborn child is innocent, it's not worth keeping the child alive. The child might end up dying facing the real world.  The real world is harsh, with no mother to take care of the baby. Secondly being a mother should be a choice. It's a women’s right to bear a child of their own. Not just getting handed one. The unborn child who may or may not be treated with love or respect he/she deserves. The mother wasn't ready to bear a child. Besides the few that I have mentioned previously, there are a lot of factors that comes in to play. 

My fellow blogger showed some really facts and points of why it should be legalized. His point does hold their values. And they are very accurate. I highly recommend if anybody wants to read more on this amazing topic, they should check out the blog my buddy provided to us. 

I truly believe this blog was really meant of the younger generation. It’s up to them and us to make a change. If I can save one life at a time, I will be very grateful. Our future generation hold key for a better future and more happiness.

Civil Rights Summit (Extra Credit)

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Former President Jimmy Carter was the  keynote speaker on the first day of the Civil Rights Summit at the LBJ Presidential Library in Austin, Texas. It was just a pleasure watching him. He is a genuine down to earth human being that god ever created. He was according to me one the best President so far, to be have elected to run this awesome country of ours. In the library the former President was given a couple of hard topic to discuss; like gay marriage, segregation, emigration etc. The President tackled all the topics like a champ. He was always against segregation and slavery from the beginning. And when he was given another hard topic to tackle such as gay marriage, he didn't even hesitate to support the gay community. He believes in love, and doesn't care where it comes from. He doesn't look at gender, color or race.  I was really excited to watch Jimmy Carter. I am glad I had the chance to see, and hear his thoughts and believe.

I don’t want to pay 4 dollars for (unleaded 87) a gallon of fuel per tank!!!!

            Mostly every family in Texas owns more than one car per household.  And with the inflation of fuel per gallon it’s getting really hard for some family, and Obama care is not helping either, FYI. Beginning of the year we started with 2.97$, and slowly moved up to 3.59$ one week ago just last week. According to CNN and some other sources, I can personally say we won’t be paying 4$ dollars or more per tank.

 The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline nationwide on Tuesday was $3.59, according to the AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report, about a dime higher than a month ago. Gasoline prices typically rise this time of year as refineries undergo maintenance to switch from winter to summer grades of gasoline. Motor fuel prices have also been affected by a rising price of ethanol, which is blended into gasoline, because of transportation problems in recent weeks. But ethanol prices have eased the last few days and are expected to decline further in the coming weeks.

This summer season, according to the Energy Department, average gasoline prices should actually be lower than or close to, those of last summer. The department’s Energy Information Administration projected on Tuesday that a gallon of regular gasoline would cost $3.57 on average nationally, down a penny from last summer.

So, hopefully this upcoming summer we will be fortunate enough to pay less than >3.50$ per gallon, per tank. Every single penny pays a huge role when you end up filling up your tank. Couple of cents can make difference between a full gallon and half a gallon. Paying even 3.50$ is really high than what I am used to, I want to go back and pay 2.99 per gallon. But I can only dream,  that someday we will pay 1$ a gallon per gallon like our father and forefathers.

Comment on a colleague's work (Toll and Rage)

           
             On Friday, March 28, 2014 my fellow blogger Real Tree Camo, wrote an outstanding blog piece about Toll Rage . What she wrote truly justifies every remarks about the toll road and its money making schemes. Why should anyone pay for toll road ? When there is a perfectly free road right next to it. If  the Government just voids this Toll road scheme, people would be very happy with the Government. Have few toll roads, just don't make them appear everywhere.

               If you want to read more about the Toll Road scheme my fellow blogger explained it really nicely. In that blog she has properly explained why we have them . And the benefit and harm toll roads brings to the citizens everywhere.  

              The author makes proper sense explaining her side of the story. She has proper evidence to support how much people actually owes to the Government , just because they don't believe in paying for the Toll. Like everyone should. We pay more than enough tax to build all out toll roads. We should not have to pay all the time. The Tx Tag is also unnecessary , if you forget to renew the tag you will end up paying more .

            

             The author is focusing majorly on young adults who believes they can make a change. And also to more knowledgeable adults who knows more about government and can stand up to the cause. No one wants to pay for toll roads , it should literally be free all the time so people can utilize both toll and free roads to their fullest potential . And save time.

Guns Are Our Friends... Lets Treat Them Better , So They Stick Around.

Guns are our friends. With the help from technology and innovation we have awarded the most reasonable weapon , Guns. Just think about it , guns have saved us from being under control from many countries, that we fought and kept us Independent.

Because of guns we were able to fend off Russian , German take over.But more than that its out god given right to bear a weapon. Its even in our Bill of Rights. Our second amendment : Right to bear arms.But government are trying to ban one of our god given right. Government wants to issue a gun control  bill; Whats up with that ?

 Firearms are generally classified into three broad types: (1) handguns, (2) rifles, and (3) shotguns. Rifles and shotguns are both considered "long guns." A semi-automatic firearm fires one bullet each time the trigger is pulled, ejects the shell of the fired bullet, and automatically loads another bullet for the next pull of the trigger. A fully automatic firearm (sometimes called a "machine gun") fires multiple bullets with the single pull of the trigger.

Guns are multibillion dollar industry , that is helping us maintain pay a lot of bills. In those classes mentioned above , every single class contains hundreds of different of guns that still in production for military and for civilians protection. They also play a huge role Sporting and Outdoors  related industries also. 

Guns keep wildlife and game in control . Talk about all the hunting seasons. Millions of dollars are in leasing , tagging animals. People pay to get the tags and they pay to lease the land they want to hunt off of. Plus by hunting they keep the environment in harmony . They keep the right amount wildlife appropriate for the habitat. If they didn't some wild life like wild boars , deer will out number humans in this planet.

Beside protecting life and our loved ones  , its our right to bear arms. So we have to keep in mind Guns don't kill people , people kill people. Words to live by, Government needs to understand by banning gun  they will make a huge mistake and they will lose a lot of money. They should permanently call of gun banning/gun control for better of million of people ,and for the great United States of America.

Texting, walking more risky than distracted driving

On Wednesday March 5th , the Drudge Report published a blog about the danger of Texting while Walking . The blogger Neal Augenstein explains the danger of texting while walking. According to Neal the danger of texting and walking is more dangerous than careless driving.

When a person walks and text their brain can't process both function at the same time. Thus causing people to trip , or even worse distract's them from their surrounding. This World is already dangerous enough. There are thousands ways to die everyday in this world. And texting while walking is definitely one of them.

Based on a study done by Ohio State University the count for pedestrian injury is off the chart. The injury count has gone up three times since the last Decade.Its a real issue more than 41000 people are being treated every year in the emergency room.

Through this research and  report we can be sure this accidents are caused mainly by people under 30. Mostly 16-25 yr old teen/young adult are responsible for this matter. And this article is mainly focuses on this specific age group.

I totally agree with this report , only because this age group is sensible to technology . Always have to have it 24/7. And because of that nature accident happen to those who fails to give much needed attention to the road. The author showed some really important points , with statistics and with survey data. Making his argument more solid to the reader.If i had to rate him I would give him a solid 10. He does make his post more educational , with important eye opening facts. So overall he did a great job getting his message across to his audience.
